As our society has become more aware of and alert to various forms of sexuality that are becoming less socially acceptable, the fact that adolescents can and do sexually harass others is a recent addition to the list.  This book explores the frequency, effects, and the persons who sexually harass other students in the junior highs and high schools of our country.

Apparently, sexual harassment in secondary schools is more frequent and more harmful than most persons thought.  There is not much research data but this book cites what there is.  While there may be some question about the quality of the research, it is what is out there now.

Once aware of this fact, what to do about it becomes the next issue.  The book gives a suggested plan for developing a policy and implementing it in secondary schools.  The intent is to control and reduce the frequency of sexually harassing behaviors in the school.  There is nothing else out there to compete with this book, so it is the place to go.  It is reasonably complete and does not produce any immediately evident folly.  It should be helpful to anyone who is faced with a responsibility to deal with the sexual harassment of students by other students in an educational setting.
